EdgeOut Comfort camping trailer

Manufactured using the rotational molding process, the EdgeOut offers unparalleled robustness with an extremely light weight thanks to its outer shell. The high-quality PE-LLD plastic, whose cavities are filled with foam insulation of the same material, creates a camper for all regions and temperatures. The outer shell is corrosion-, weather- and UV-resistant, can of course be recycled and is also highly resistant to cold impact.


Basic equipment

The ladder frame of the EdgeOut comes with towing and braking technology from Knott . Vehicle safety is guaranteed by high-quality components.

The wheel/tyre combination with 16" rims and 235/65/R16 all-season all-terrain tires makes it possible to drive off the beaten track. Thanks to the snowflake, there is no need to change tires when the season changes.

With the built-in 110L water tank, water supply is no problem even on longer trips. The water tank is located above the axle, ensuring perfect balance and you don't have to worry about weight distribution.

The two rear, adjustable supports ensure a secure stand and the four maneuvering handles make maneuvering the trailer easy and uncomplicated.


Outdoor area

The outdoor area of the EdgeOut trailer impresses with extensive equipment for relaxed traveling and camping.

The spacious storage box and the roof rack system on top provide space and usable space when transporting larger items. The cover of the storage box can be easily locked in place to keep the stowed items within easy reach.

The outdoor shower with pull-out shower head is located on the driver's side, while the filler and water tank connection are on the passenger's side.

The spare wheel holder at the rear provides space for a full-size spare wheel in the event of a breakdown.

The two entrance doors can be locked from the outside and also from the inside, have an integrated stowage net and a practical sliding window. The included mosquito net ensures good ventilation and keeps annoying insects away from the bed. The side lighting, which can be controlled from the inside, also ensures safe access at night.
Furnishings

The EdgeOut trailer impresses with its comfortable and functional interior.

The centerpiece is the 10 cm thick queen-size innerspring mattress, which can be easily folded down thanks to its double design.

Underneath, there are three storage compartments that offer plenty of space for all items that don't need to be close to hand at all times.

There is a bedside cabinet on each side of the doors with a light switch for the yellow or white LED lighting on the outside, as well as two USB ports.

The adjustable backrest allows you to sit upright, while the reading lamp provides the necessary brightness for browsing.

The view of the starry sky through the panoramic window can only be restricted, if at all desired, by the roll-up window cover.

The spacious storage compartments at the foot end are located on the axle, so there is no need to worry about the drawbar load here either. Some of the electrics are housed within easy reach in the left-hand compartment (switch box and solar charge controller).

In the middle are further USB ports, a 12V cigarette lighter and two 230V sockets. The controller for the 2KW diesel parking heater and a battery indicator can also be found here as an option. The battery can be controlled both via the Victron app and manually.

The passive fan on the ceiling ensures pleasant air even when the doors are closed, while an opening at the foot end on the right-hand side brings the warm air from the optional auxiliary heater into the cab.

There is an additional, narrow storage compartment on the passenger side near the door. On the opposite side, there is space for the shower fitting.

Kitchen

The EdgeOut rear outdoor kitchen is perfect for all your outdoor cooking needs!

The storage compartments with lightweight felt covers, some with pull-outs, and the practical tensioning straps offer space for all kinds of utensils.

The 12V cigarette lighter and the two USB ports provide a wide range of power supply options for your devices.

The work surface, which extends across the entire width of the trailer, is perfect for cutting and arranging food.

The DC/DC charge controller makes it easy to charge the battery via the alternator while driving.

There are connections for a solar panel on the roof and an extra Anderson connection for a folding panel on the side, which work via Plug'n'Play.

The difference between the Basic and Comfort versions is the optional electrical system.

While the Basic version only comes with an 80AH AGM battery, the Comfort version has a lithium battery for a higher energy output. Regardless of the model, the battery is located on the left under the kitchen unit (space for 33 x 17 x 21.5 cm batteries)

The optional auxiliary heater of the Comfort version is located in the same storage space, which thus supports the functionality of the battery, especially in colder regions, thanks to the waste heat it generates.

There is a pull-out drawer on the left underneath, which offers space for a cool box and an additional compartment for utensils. As the drawer can be pulled out completely, a toploader cool box can also be connected and used here.

The kitchen block with three pull-out drawers is mounted on a heavy-duty pull-out that can cope with any weight. While the bottom drawer with its plastic inlet offers space for cups or pots, the middle drawer is perfect for cutlery.

The Dometic double-burner gas hob with glass cover is integrated at the top, where it is safe to travel.

The fold-down tap and an adjustable holder for the folding sink supplied are installed on the side. The water drain is located at the bottom right.

Above the work surface, or rather on the rear door, there is a kitchen roll holder that is always within easy reach.
Electrics

Emsland4x4 installs the electrics and associated components in its own workshop, as this is the only way to guarantee an EU-compliant and simple solution for the customer with short distances.

On the opposite side, to the right of the kitchen, there is sufficient space for the Comfort 5L hot water boiler, powered by the 12V battery as standard. This provides energy-efficient hot water for showering and washing up.
Other features of the Comfort version include the shore power connection with the corresponding 230V sockets in the kitchen and the MPPT solar charge controller.
Regardless of the version, our EdgeOut can be upgraded with various optional accessories.
An axle upgrade means that the trailer can easily obtain 100 km/h approval.
For a more private shower, there is a shower cabin that can be attached to the rack system.
A perfectly fitting roof tent expands the travel capacity of the trailer from two to four people.
The awning provides plenty of shade and protection at the side and creates the ideal place to relax during the day.
Solar panels enable truly self-sufficient travel and ensure a constant power supply and battery charge.
The spare wheel is the savior in the event of a breakdown emergency when a flat tire thwarts your plans on remote roads.
A cool box is an absolute must for cool drinks and optimum food storage.
