The Alu-Cab Canopy Camper is the optimal combination of a stable aluminum hardtop and a spacious roof tent accessible from the inside.
The "AC20" version of the Canopy Camper was developed on the occasion of Alu-Cab's 20th anniversary celebrations and offers optimal solutions for a perfect and travel-ready camper with two mounted multifunctional panels, a left awning, the interior pocket systems and integrated LED lighting.
With its large rear door and the two side flaps, the Canopy Camper offers a lot of possibilities to arrange the interior according to your own wishes. Thanks to its universal size, it fits most and common European pickups and is easily installed on the pickup with the mounting kit that matches the vehicle.
The extremely sturdy frame structure is made of newly developed aluminum extrusion profiles. Integrated C-rails built into the frame all around allow for easy mounting of accessories, both inside and outside.
The frame around the rear door is fully sealed against the pickup truck bed. Unlike a normal tailgate, this prevents dust from entering the interior. The large rear door with its sturdy grab handle allows easy access to the interior. The tailgate can be locked from the inside and outside and is capable of carrying a spare tire up to 33-inches in size.
The two-piece bed, consisting of a lounging area and entry hatch, extends the full length of the Canopy Camper. Bedding or sleeping bags can easily remain there even when the roof is closed or the sleeping area is folded up.
The tent walls are constructed of two layers of tent fabric with Riplock technology. This provides optimal protection against wind and cold.
A special MOLLE system made of perforated plates allows accessories to be easily attached to the outside of the rear wall. The front of the Canopy Camper, the rear door, the back wall on the left and right of the door and the canopy of the roof tent can be equipped with storage pockets made of durable canvas fabric.
C-rails on the roof make stable mounting of crossbars a breeze. Most of the aluminum cab range of hardtop and roof tent accessories can also be used on the Canopy Camper.
With a left-mounted Shadow Awn awning, the Canopy Camper provides the best foundation for camping with great protection from the elements.
