Alu-Cab's Heavy Duty hardtops are unique on the market in many ways. They are made almost entirely of aluminum and are therefore durable as well as UV and corrosion resistant. Despite its low weight, the aluminum frame provides extreme stability and allows high loads to be loaded onto the roof. Interior fittings can be easily, stably and reliably attached to the frame thanks to C-rails. C-rails on the roof allow easy mounting of cross and roof racks. Generous side flaps allow unhindered access to the load. Optional storage compartments or slide-in rails for storage boxes keep things tidy. Everything is quickly accessible from the outside. With a wide range of accessories, the hardtop can be adapted to your own needs.   

On the Explorer model, the chopping flap extends over the full width, while on the Adventure model there is still space on the left and right of the flap for mounting a rear ladder, canister or gas bottle holder.  

Almost all models are mounted using vehicle-specific brackets. These are attached to standard holes on the platform or frame, e.g. for lashing strap eyes, retaining or sports brackets. No holes need to be drilled in the vehicle for mounting.
