A unique feature of Alu-Cab's aluminum crossbars is the T-slot on the long side. In the roof basket, this is used to mount the basket between two crossbars. With a height of only 33 mm, it is hardly higher than the crossbars themselves. It does not protrude upwards and therefore does not restrict the mounting options on the crossmembers. It is almost unnoticeable and has virtually no effect on air resistance.  This mount is attached to the bottom of the crossmembers using M8 hex bolts.

The roof basket comfortably holds 3 ammo boxes. Cargo can be secured via ratchet tension straps. Five slots on each long side of the basket are used to pass through straps for their secure attachment. The basket is drilled with four holes for easy mounting of Maxtrax™ Mountin Pin brackets for MKII sand plates. Two brackets for RotopaX™ gasoline and water canisters can be bolted to additional holes. Canisters up to a size of 3 gallons, equivalent to approximately 11 liters, can be attached. To attach your own holders or items, holes can easily be drilled in the roof basket or the side retaining bolts can be used in the C-groove of the cross members. Ring eyelets can be inserted into the groove of the two cross members to brace cargo.

Attached to the underside of the crossbars, the table insert is used to hold an Alu-Cab work and camping table and makes perfect use of the space between the roof basket and the vehicle. A lock secures the table from sliding out.

The table can be mounted or oriented in two different ways:
1) To the rear.
Here also the 40mm feet could be used. The distance between the two brackets is derived from the width of the table.

2) To the side
Here you need the 60mm Alu-Cab feet. The distance of the two cross supports is derived from the width of the table. In addition, the table must also come over the C-rail.
