The horntools car awning Straight is not just any rain or sun protection, it is a retreat, made from high-quality, waterproof 260G canvas. It is robust and durable. Ready to accompany you anywhere. With the adjustable telescopic feet, the awning can be adapted to the respective conditions.
One length - three widths
The Straight awning is 2 meters long and you can choose between three different widths: 1.40, 2.00 and 2.50 meters. There is definitely the right width for you, regardless of whether you are traveling with an off-roader or a van and whether your whole family is with you.
Lightweight and compact
When folded, the awning has a compact size of 8 x 13 cm with the respective length. It also weighs only 9 kg.
The awning becomes a tent
But that's not all. Horntools also offers a hook-in tent as a suitable accessory for your car awning. In no time at all, you can create a separate room that can be used as additional sleeping or storage space.
In addition to the awning, the scope of delivery also includes 2 L-brackets for mounting and a robust housing. Guy ropes are also included to keep the awning secure and stable.

Fitting the awning
The awning is screwed to the roof rack or directly to a roof tent. If you already have a horntools® roof tent, you can connect the awning directly to the tent - simply slide the L-brackets into the tent rails. The two L-brackets supplied are also compatible with different roof rack variants. If there are mounting rails on the roof rack, sliding bolts can be used to attach the awning. If there are no mounting rails, holes can be drilled at the outer ends of the roof racks and the L-brackets can be bolted there. Detailed instructions can be found below in the "Service instructions" in the "FAQ & Download" section. There is a separate awning bracket for the horntools ExRoof roof rack for the Straight awning.
