The Ironman4x4 winches are the new top products from Ironman4x4 for the off-road vehicle market and the first choice for the demanding user. The consistent further development in every detail makes the winch already visually special, for example, the distinctive upper cross brace provides increased stability.
The winch's motor, gearbox, drum and control box are sealed to IP68. This not only means that the winch is protected against the ingress of sand and dust, but that it can also be used permanently submerged.
The more powerful motors, combined with the new and highly efficient 3-stage planetary gearbox, result in a rope speed that is up to 20% higher than Improved Offroad Series winches, depending on the version and load. And all this with lower power consumption. Especially when the winch is fully integrated into the vehicle and installed behind the bumper, access to the freewheel lever is often impossible or very difficult. In this case, the rope must also be unwound electrically, and a higher rope speed is a great advantage.
The rope brake has also been revised and reduced in noise.
Like all ironman4x4 winches, these winches come with a fully integrated relay module (ISM, Integrated Solenoid Module), now in its 4th generation. Designed and manufactured to meet military and commercial requirements, it ensures reliable operation of the winch for many years. Silver-coated relay contacts reduce contact resistance, voltage losses and temperature. The integrated design significantly reduces the number of components, screw contacts and wiring compared to a conventional relay box, eliminating many sources of error. The service life is ten times that of 3rd generation relay boxes.
All winches are supplied with a cable remote control (length 3.7 m) that is easy to handle. The comfortable radio remote control can be connected very easily by Plug&Play.
The winches are available with steel cable and roller rope window or synthetic Dyneema® rope with aluminum rope window.
Ironman4x4 WB-9500
The WB-9500 is equipped with a 5.5 hp in-line (Series Wound) motor and has a pulling force of 9,500 pounds (4,310 kg). The planetary gearbox has a 265:1 ratio, and the maximum rope speed is 11.8 m/min.
